Most of you coming to this section of the website probably are asking yourself the same question:

“What is this crap?!”

Well either you’re my dad or you get the joke that these are all awesome ideas for movies.

As fun as the interview was with Thom was where I basically improved the whole story of being a failed movie
producer back from years in Hollywood (explaining my hiatus from my failed comic “Rubber”), the story behind how the
comic began is not unlike most cartoonist’s days of yore: goofing off at work.

“Trailer Park” began one particularly slow night at my job as a credit card collector for a major bank. The film version
of ABBA’s “Mama Mia!” had just come out and a gaggle of women were talking about it. It made me realize something:
Hollywood is completely out of the loop of what average Joe’s like me want to see at the movies. Having an
encyclopedia-like knowledge of cult film, I started to draw out ideas for movies I would rather see than “Mama Mia!”
In fact, that’s what I originally was going to call it before I settled on “Trailer Park.” After the first page, I showed it
around to my friends who instantly laughed their asses off at some of my titles and ideas.

After completing a slew of posters, I realized that these were too good to leave in my personal collection, so I decided to
return to the beloved 515Comics that I co-founded and release “Trailer Park” as a bi-weekly comic.

As a special highlight, I’ll leave the original drawing for each uploaded poster
in the “Bonus Features” section.

Glad to be back, folks.
