A man down on his luck. The week after his girlfriend broke up with him he lost his job, his car broke down, and he had to convince his land lord to give him an extension on his rent. Depressed and looking for cash he decided to take a loan from a shark.

A month later he is still jobless, the rent is once again due and now the mafia is after him. He decided to take a forced withdrawl from the bank.

Unable to go through with the robbery, two other masked men entered the bank as he is leaving. Gun in hand he decided to follow them in.

Stopping them and receiving a head wound, Rex is rushed to the hospital as a hero. He developes a strange reaction to the gunshot and is held for observation by the doctors.

A week later some men in suits are seen visiting him and he is never heard from again.
